This is the story of how the Bay Cup developed during the season. The Bay Cup reverted to a knockout format in this year.
It should be noted that Newcastle Emlyn's semi-final went to a replay after two three-all draws. Also, the final, which was two-all after ninety minutes, went to extra time. Newcastle Emlyn were awarded a last minute which was enough to see them win the Cup.
