This page is intended as a rough guide to where various pieces of information regarding the Costcutter Ceredigion League can be found on the website.
The website is split up in to seven main sections, namely News, Fixtures, Results, Tables, Archive, History and Clubs. These sections can be accessed via the relevant buttons directly underneath the website’s logo from any other page or from the underlined text links on the homepage at www.ceredigionleague.co.uk
News
The News section contains a weekly review of any important results and how they have affected the relevant competitions. This should also be your first port of call for any information regarding forthcoming events or rule changes etc. As you will also be aware, the link for this website guide is also included in the News section.
All News items are archived within this section and can be reached via the text links on the right hand side.
Fixtures
This is probably the smallest section on the website but it contains all currently known fixtures and dates for all the league’s competitions.
Results
This section contains all the results for the league’s competitions with the most recent results being at the top of the page. All competitions have their own page and results from the 2006-2007 until present have been archived in this section.
Tables
In this section are the tables for Division 1, Division 2 and the Reserves Cup. These are continually up to date although they are only as accurate as the information received from the league allows them to be. Also under this section are the Matrices for Division 1, Division 2 and the Reserves Cup. Also sometimes reffered to as results grids, this is a simple at-a-glance grid to find out which games have already been played and which are still outstanding for that season. This is the easiest place to find out which teams your club has got left to play in that particular season - all important in that final push for the title!
All competitions have their own page and tables and matrices from the 2006-2007 until present have been archived in this section.
Archive
The main purpose of this section is to list all known previous winners and runners-up for the various competitions. Where a year is underlined, a link is available to a page giving further information on that year’s competition. This can be a final league table, a photo of the winning team or a report on the final. In time we hope to have further details on many more of the competitions than we have now. In fact, if any of you out there have any contributions such as photos or match reports, please send them through to webmaster@ceredigionleague.co.uk. We will try to use as many of these contributions as possible
History
The section contains information about how the league has developed over the years. Again, if you have anything to contribute to the expansion of this website, please send them through to webmaster@ceredigionleague.co.uk. Currently the section has a history of the first season of the league as well as an archived copy of the minutes of the first league meeting. Also under this section is a register of all the league’s officials from its inception in 1921.
Clubs
Under this section, each club has its’ own page on which that clubs information can be found. This information includes contact information, illustations of club colours, photos of the ground where appropriate and a list of all competitions won by that club.
Perhaps most importantly this season, we are looking to expand each page by listing each clubs’ registered players on a separate page. Under each clubs page there is a ‘registered players page’ where each currently registered player for that club is listed.
Also under this section is a list of current League Officials and contact details which can be found below the list of clubs on the right hand side.
